Lindsey Lohan

There are very few red-headed celebrities, so no one will forget the adorable freckled red headed, Lindsey Lohan. Lindsey was born on Long Island in 1986, and this was where she made her big break. As early as age 3, it was obvious Lindsey was destined for success when she booked a contract with Ford Modeling Agency. Ford Modeling Agency helped her book roles on over 60 TV commercials, and she was the face for several large corporations such as The Gap, Pizza Hut, Wendy’s and Jello-O.

Soon after becoming a successful child commercial star, Lindsey moved on to bigger and better things as a TV star. Lindsey was then featured on television shows such as Another World, Healthy Kids, and Guiding Light. Then in 1998 Lindsey booked her first and biggest movie role, starring as Hallie, and Annie Parker in the remake of The Parent Trap with Dennis Quaid. In 2000, after her big break into movies, Lindsey starred in two made for TV movies, Life-Size and Get a Clue.

Lindsey’s rise to fame continued. She starred in Freaky Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis in 2003. Freaky Friday was Lindsey’s biggest movie success, pulling in $160 million at the box office. In 2004, Lindsey’s star roles in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls all together pulled in $170 million.

By the age of 18, Lindsey started to experience some career “interruptions”. Lindsey started becoming infamous for her attitude towards the paparazzi, and extreme partying. Lindsey was reportedly participating in mass amounts of underage drinking and drug use. In 2007, Lindsey checked into rehab. People magazine quotes I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health," she said. "I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time”. Lindsey has been in and out of rehab dealing with her drug and alchohol issues, and I wish the best for her. Her newest movie, I Know Who Killed Me, is due to release in the summer of 2009.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Who could forget the adorable twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. At their youngest point in their acting career, they both shared the role of Michelle Tanner on Full House. But that was only the start of their career. The twins went on to build a $100 million empire, consisting of movies such as "It Takes Two" and the entire Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen detective series, dolls, makeup, toys, and TV appearances.

But where are they now?

In 2004, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen both announced that they would be attending New York University. But in 2005, Mary-Kate left the University and moved back to California to pursue more personal acting. Ashley remained in college.

Around the time the twins announced they would be attending New York Univeristy, Mary-Kate checked into rehab in Utah for six weeks due to anorexia. Mary-Kate put on about 7 pounds in rehab and seemed to be making good progress, but in 2007 she was reportadley back down to the wait she started as before going into rehab (80 pounds). Mary-Kate was also repordadley dating Heath Ledger at the time of his death.

Ashley, on the other hand, has stayed low key. She remains at New York University pursuing fashion.

Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman, the 4 ft 8 inch actor (due to congenital kidney disease which halted his growth) is probably best known as playing Arnold Porter on Diff’rent Strokes. Innocent and adorable, Coleman is like a life-size teddy bear. “Whatchoo talkin ‘bout Willis? Not so much anymore!

Although Coleman is legally a midget, don’t mess with him. Before filing for bankruptcy in 1999, Coleman claimed that his parents and former manager mismanaged his $3.8 million trust fun and sued them, winning $1,280,000.

He gets “big” in the ring too. In 1998 Coleman was charged with assault after he punched a woman who he claimed he thought was going to hit him. So he punched her first. He was ordered to pay the woman $1,665. This incident proved that just because you’re a little man doesn’t mean you can hit a woman.

His immense troubles continue. After having what was called a “heated discussion” with his wife, Coleman was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and was ordered to pay $100.

After all these public performances of bad behavior, Coleman had the guts to run for governor of California in 2003. But when Arnold Schwarzenegger announced he was running, Coleman backed down and said he would be voting for Schwarzenegger. Shwarzenegger is a towering 6 foot 2 235 pound man (may I remind you, Coleman is only 4’8). Although Coleman never let his size stop him before, you don’t mess with the terminator.

Macaulay Culkin

Any American would remember Kevin McAllister, the irresistibly spunky blond from Home Alone who seemed to be left out of everything for his naïve and childish ways. “Mom, Uncle Frank won't let me watch the movie but the big kids can. Why can't I?” he said with his bottom lip poked out. Macaulay Culkin, the real-life actor playing this little boy, was considered America’s “cutie” in the child acting world.

But where is this little boy now? Not so innocent, anymore.

After staring in some other childhood movies such as Richie Rich, Getting Even with Dad and The Nutcracker, Culkin quickly grew out of his boyish charm.

It first became evident Culkin was no longer the sweet little boy everyone knew and loved when in 2003, at 18 years old, Culkin played a drug using and murdering party promoter in Party Monster.

But it wasn’t just in film Culkin’s role was changing. In September of 2004, Culkin was arrested in Oklahoma City for the possession of 17.3g of marijuana, 16mg of Xanax, and 32mg of clonazepam. Said to be high at the time, Culkin was arrested and jailed briefly when he was released on a $4,000 bond. In his October trial, Culkin initially pleaded not guilty but then decided to plea guilty. He got off with three 1-year suspended prison terms, probationary drug treatment programs and a $540 fine. His reputation however, was destroyed.

Culkin has been reportedly been dating “That 70s Show” star Mila Kunis, and lives in Los Angelos, California. His film and TV career is at a stand-still presently. He has stayed out of trouble with the law lately, but continues to party.

“I’m a Criminal”, he said in Home Alone after stealing a toothbrush. If only he knew what was to come in the future.
