Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman, the 4 ft 8 inch actor (due to congenital kidney disease which halted his growth) is probably best known as playing Arnold Porter on Diff’rent Strokes. Innocent and adorable, Coleman is like a life-size teddy bear. “Whatchoo talkin ‘bout Willis? Not so much anymore!

Although Coleman is legally a midget, don’t mess with him. Before filing for bankruptcy in 1999, Coleman claimed that his parents and former manager mismanaged his $3.8 million trust fun and sued them, winning $1,280,000.

He gets “big” in the ring too. In 1998 Coleman was charged with assault after he punched a woman who he claimed he thought was going to hit him. So he punched her first. He was ordered to pay the woman $1,665. This incident proved that just because you’re a little man doesn’t mean you can hit a woman.

His immense troubles continue. After having what was called a “heated discussion” with his wife, Coleman was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and was ordered to pay $100.

After all these public performances of bad behavior, Coleman had the guts to run for governor of California in 2003. But when Arnold Schwarzenegger announced he was running, Coleman backed down and said he would be voting for Schwarzenegger. Shwarzenegger is a towering 6 foot 2 235 pound man (may I remind you, Coleman is only 4’8). Although Coleman never let his size stop him before, you don’t mess with the terminator.

Macaulay Culkin

Any American would remember Kevin McAllister, the irresistibly spunky blond from Home Alone who seemed to be left out of everything for his naïve and childish ways. “Mom, Uncle Frank won't let me watch the movie but the big kids can. Why can't I?” he said with his bottom lip poked out. Macaulay Culkin, the real-life actor playing this little boy, was considered America’s “cutie” in the child acting world.

But where is this little boy now? Not so innocent, anymore.

After staring in some other childhood movies such as Richie Rich, Getting Even with Dad and The Nutcracker, Culkin quickly grew out of his boyish charm.

It first became evident Culkin was no longer the sweet little boy everyone knew and loved when in 2003, at 18 years old, Culkin played a drug using and murdering party promoter in Party Monster.

But it wasn’t just in film Culkin’s role was changing. In September of 2004, Culkin was arrested in Oklahoma City for the possession of 17.3g of marijuana, 16mg of Xanax, and 32mg of clonazepam. Said to be high at the time, Culkin was arrested and jailed briefly when he was released on a $4,000 bond. In his October trial, Culkin initially pleaded not guilty but then decided to plea guilty. He got off with three 1-year suspended prison terms, probationary drug treatment programs and a $540 fine. His reputation however, was destroyed.

Culkin has been reportedly been dating “That 70s Show” star Mila Kunis, and lives in Los Angelos, California. His film and TV career is at a stand-still presently. He has stayed out of trouble with the law lately, but continues to party.

“I’m a Criminal”, he said in Home Alone after stealing a toothbrush. If only he knew what was to come in the future.
